On October 16, 2009, Liberty Baptist Church held our annual Great Investment Fundraiser.  The contributions at the banquet would determine how to move “Forward by Faith” with the future building of the Family Life Center.  God took this opportunity to perform yet another miracle; at the banquet, we are now over the million dollar mark, for the construction of the building.

Pastor Tomlinson will meet with the congregation of Liberty Baptist Church on November 29, 2009, to discuss, finalize, and vote on the building project.

The Family Life Center will greatly enhance the ministries of our church and school.  This building will be used for outreach, fellowship, banquets, education, athletics, seminars, and children’s ministries.  The building will enable us to approximately double our seating capacity for banquets and other events.  This new structure will become one of the most-used buildings on campus.

Praise the Lord!

The Great Investment is the opportunity God is giving our church and school family to greatly enhance our ministry to people.

On September 6, 2007 The City Planning Commission meet in the City Council’s Chambers at City Hall to consider our application to amend:

1. The General Plan for the City of Newport Beach to increase the allowable development on the Bison Campus.
2. The Plan for the North Ford Planned Community to allow for additional square feet of development.
3. The Conditional Use Permit number 1726 under which Liberty and Newport Christian School operate in the city of Newport Beach.

Those in attendance were thrilled at how God worked. All three items were amended. This paves the way for the Educational Building and Gymnasium to be built.
